Two Rivers Church Updates and Plans

Two Rivers Church · 37:10

This discussion covers several updates and plans for Two Rivers Church. The church is currently in a four-week season of prayer, with this week's focus being unity, based on Ephesians 4:1-6. The speakers encourage praying scripture back to God as a way to engage with this theme. Looking ahead, the teaching team is planning sermon series through the end of 2020 and into 2021, including a Christmas series and a focus on 21 days of prayer in January, leading up to a Quiet Waters event on January 21st and 22nd. They are currently teaching through John, specifically John 16, where Jesus uses the illustration of childbirth to explain the pain of his departure and the joy of his return. For Christmas Eve, the church plans to hold multiple services on December 24th across three campuses, featuring live teaching and worship at each. Reservations will be required for these services to manage capacity and spacing. The discussion also touches on the availability of Stephen Ministers for support and resources for children's anxiety, as well as efforts to expand children's ministries as volunteer numbers allow.
