Philemon: A Living Forgiveness Lesson

Grace Community Church · 50:52

In this sermon, John MacArthur delves into the short but powerful New Testament letter to Philemon, specifically verses 1-3, to reveal a profound 'living lesson' on Christian forgiveness and reconciliation. He meticulously examines Paul's appeal to Philemon regarding his runaway slave, Onesimus, who has become a believer, illustrating the radical transformation of relationships under the gospel. This message offers practical application for believers navigating difficult personal conflicts, emphasizing the grace required to extend forgiveness and restore broken bonds, relevant for all growing Christians seeking to embody Christ's love in their daily interactions.
