For three and a half years, Eric helped Kevan, a friend with a muscular disease, get out of bed each week. Serving in close proximity to Kevan ended up meeting deep needs in Eric’s life. “In that time, while I went there to serve him, his need became the opportunity to serve me. I would share the deep stuff in my life, he would share about his life … every conversation was [some of] the deepest conversations I’ve had in my life.” This story is from the Service Practice, made by Practicing the Way.
