What If You’re Climbing the Wrong Ladder? | Bryan Loritts

The Summit Church · 4:33

What if you spend your entire life chasing success—only to realize you were pursuing things that never truly mattered? In this clip, Pastor Bryan Loritts reflects on the life of Al Capone and the haunting words found on his grave: “My Jesus, mercy.” His story serves as a warning that wealth, recognition, comfort, and influence cannot give us the fulfillment we are searching for. It is possible to climb all the way to the top of the ladder of success and discover that your ladder was leaning against the wrong wall. The question is not simply whether you are succeeding, but whether you are giving your life to something that will matter for eternity. Don’t waste your life chasing what cannot last. 📍 From the final message in our Philippians series, The Secret to the Good Life To learn more about The Summit Church or find a campus near you, visit summitchurch.com. -- New to the Summit?
