Courage: God's 'Do Not Fear'

Saddleback Church · 8:02

This Saddleback Church devotion explores the fundamental choice between courage and fear that believers face daily, emphasizing God's consistent biblical command to 'Do not fear.' Drawing from powerful scriptures such as Genesis 15:1, Deuteronomy 31:6, Isaiah 41:13, and the vivid account of Peter walking on water in Matthew 14:28-30, the message highlights God's unwavering presence and promise to strengthen us. The devotion provides practical encouragement for cultivating a spirit of courage, reminding viewers that faith in God's power and love empowers them to overcome anxieties and step out in boldness, rather than succumbing to doubt and apprehension. It's a call to embrace God's strength in every circumstance, relevant for anyone seeking to deepen their trust and live fearlessly.
